Everything happens locally in your browser: the QR code is drawn onto a canvas on your own device, so the link or text you encode is never uploaded or stored anywhere. That makes the tool safe to use even for internal URLs, draft campaign links, or anything else you would rather not paste into a third-party server.
You can also customize the result before you download it. Adjust the size from 200 to 1000 pixels for anything from a business card to a poster, pick foreground and background colors that match your brand, and choose an error correction level so the code keeps scanning even if the print gets scuffed. No. A QR code generated here encodes your content directly and works forever, as long as the URL inside it still resolves. Only dynamic QR services that route scans through their own servers can expire; this tool does not do that.

M (15%) works for most cases. Use Q or H if the printed code might get dirty, scratched, or partially covered, and L only when you need the smallest possible code for clean digital display.
A common rule is that the code should be at least one tenth of the expected scanning distance, with a practical minimum of about 2 x 2 cm on paper. Export at 1000 pixels for posters so it stays sharp when scaled up.
Not if you encode the destination URL directly, because the URL is baked into the pattern. The usual workaround is to encode a short link, such as a ReSlug link, whose destination you can edit later without reprinting.
