Most links you copy from social apps, newsletters, and search ads carry extra baggage: utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, gclid, and dozens of similar parameters that exist only to tell marketing platforms where a click came from. They make URLs long and ugly, leak information about how you found a page, and can fragment caching and analytics. This tool removes tracking parameters from a URL while leaving the parameters the page actually needs, like product IDs or search terms, untouched.

The stripper recognizes the utm_ family along with platform click IDs such as fbclid, gclid, msclkid, twclid, and ttclid, plus email and analytics tokens like mc_eid, _hsenc, mkt_tok, and vero_id. A summary shows how many URLs were cleaned and how many parameters were removed, and an expandable per-URL view lists exactly which parameters were stripped from each link, so you can verify nothing important was touched. Invalid lines are skipped and flagged rather than breaking the batch.

UTM parameters are tags like utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign that marketers append to URLs so analytics tools can attribute traffic to a campaign. They are not needed to load the page, so removing them is safe; the link still works and just stops reporting where the click came from.

It is possible if your site reuses a known tracker name, most plausibly ref, for its own functionality. Check the Per-URL details list of removed parameters and add any needed value back manually if that happens.
